General Cleaner / Maintenance Person - Kenmare Collection Hospitality Group

Part-time, up to 32 hours per week | Monday to Friday, daytime only – no nights, no weekends | €14.50–€17.00 per hour, depending on experience

About us

The Kenmare Collection Hospitality Group is a family-run business in the heart of Kenmare, Co. Kerry. It is made up of O'Donnabhain's, a busy bar, restaurant and guesthouse on Henry Street, and KenmareRentals.com Holiday Homes, our collection of holiday homes and apartments in and around the town. We're looking for a reliable, hands-on person to keep all our properties clean, safe and well looked after.

The role

This is a varied, all-round job covering cleaning, gardening and general maintenance across the bar, guesthouse and our holiday properties. No two days are the same.

Cleaning

• General cleaning of the bar, restaurant, guesthouse corridors and common areas

• Deep cleans and changeovers at holiday homes and apartments

• Keeping entrances, outdoor areas and bin areas tidy

Gardening & outdoor work

• Grass cutting, weeding and general garden upkeep

• Pruning hedges, shrubs and trees

• Power washing paths, patios, walls and outdoor furniture

Maintenance

• Small repairs: doors, handles, shelves, light fittings, leaking taps and similar

• Painting and touch-ups

• Checking properties between guests and reporting anything that needs a tradesperson

• Helping with deliveries, moving furniture and seasonal jobs

What we're looking for

• Full clean driving licence and own transport (essential, as we have properties outside the town)

• Practical and handy with tools; cleaning, gardening or maintenance experience a plus

• Reliable, punctual and able to work on your own initiative

• Takes pride in a job done properly
